About Me

I've always loved art and being creative ever since I was a little girl. I loved going with my Dad to the office supply store and looking at all the crayons, colored pencils and drawing pads.  I'll always remember the day that he bought me watercolor pencils.  Oh, how I loved those.  I looked forward to my art classes in high school. It was my favorite part of the day.  After High School , I took art classes at small  private art school where I met and married my art teacher.   I continue to learn a lot from him.  We have 4 beautiful children who are full of creativity as well. 

 

When I was ten my Aunt taught me to crochet.  My first project was a crochet Christmas stocking.  Since then, I've made a few blankets and other small crochet projects. 

I like to quilt but lack the patience for it.  I'm thinking that small doll quilts would suit me better.  My Granny loved to quilt and  made over 100 full size quilts in her lifetime.  She passed them down to all her children and grandchildren. They were all beautiful.  

 

I inherited my Grandmother's love of dolls.  She collected them and made a few. Now, I'm enjoying the process of learning to make them.  Its lovely to see how their little faces come to life.
