I loved working on this little Halloween monster and finding out how far my creative abilities could go.  I was stuck, so to speak, on working with other people's  patterns but I knew I could do something that was my own and this is what transpired.

Here is the original drawing that I worked from.

I love how it turned out.  A friend of mine named him "Mobley" and I thought that was a really cute name.  He has a sweet tooth.  I think he needs to go to a "Candy - Addict - anonymous" support group.  He's missing a few teeth.

He's up for sale in my shop!

Happy Halloween!

Tote Bags

I love purses and tote bags and I thought I'd try out a pattern I found for this tote bag.
I love the fabric and the pleats in it. The top tapers in a bit
which makes the bag look even better.

This tote is up for sale on my facebook page.  If you haven't visited my
page be sure to stop by and give it a "Like".

Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone is having a very Merry Christmas! I was busy this December finishing up some Christmas gifts. I had a painting for my mother that I finished up. I actually gave it to her for her birthday in June but didn't finish it until Christmas Eve! Better late than never right ;). Here's a picture:
I also worked on a Christmas stocking for my daughter. I had intended on putting some zebra print as a ruffle on it but she liked the lace idea and I think it turned out very pretty.
Finally.. here is a pillow I made for my son. He loves Nightwing and this is what he wanted.
They were lots of fun to make.

My Cross Stitch Wreath

This project has been in the works for over 10yrs. I just recently started working on it again and I'm almost done and ready for it to be framed.

Vampire

Here's what I've been working on lately. My son made a drawing of a vampire so I thought I'd see if I could turn it into a doll. Here is the result...

Cute Little Monkey

I finally finished my monkey and I must say she turned out beautifully. She's going into a Jungle Showcase hosted by I Sew Your Dream . She has some really cute items that she created from children's artwork. My Monkey:
The tail was a little tricky to turn out once it was all sewn but I managed and I love how it looks.

Monkey Fabric

Here is a look at my monkey fabric. The dolly sandwich is the hardest to sew and I've come to a bump in the road trying to figure out how to fit the tail in with all the arms and legs. We'll see what I come up with.
